Service Summary

The Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Committee (SVPEC) is established to encourage the University community to work together to promote a safe learning, living and work environment for the members of the University community.  This committee is focused on creating a campus atmosphere in which sexual violence is not tolerated. This committee will consider and recommend proposals with regard to sexual violence prevention and awareness, initiatives and programs.  As this committee is not a policy-making body, it is understood that some issues may require redirection to other bodies within the University community.

All stakeholders on campus, including individual students, faculty, staff and student groups can submit (and are encouraged to submit) proposals for various initiatives and/or campaigns to this Committee as per the Sexual Violence Policy.
