Carleton’s new Future Learning Lab is both a physical space and a set of programs that bring students and professors together to share, research and design.
The lab is designed to foster innovation and help students succeed by developing skills that go beyond traditional academic activities.
The Future Learning Lab provides students with a variety of opportunities to gain hands-on experience and develop important academic and transferable skills, including the chance to participate in undergraduate research through the I-CUREUS program, partner with instructors in course design through the Students as Partners Program (SaPP), and develop your skill set through the FUSION curriculum.
Located on the fourth floor of the library, the Future Learning Lab features:
− A large common area with flexible furniture
− Collaborative Learning Spaces with TV monitors
− Whiteboards throughout
