Department Details

Campus Safety Services consists of Patrol Services, Parking Services, Technical Services and the Carleton University Student Emergency Response Team (CUSERT) who together provide support to the Carleton community 24/7, 365 days a year. Patrol Services is staffed by professional Communications Operators, student security (for those interested in a job opportunity), and Special Constables who are qualified sworn peace officers.

We offer a Safe Walk Program, Work Late Program, secure bicycle compounds, Safety Planning, Flip the Script with EAAA™ Sexual Assault Resistance Education Program and much more. Campus Safety also has an Engagement and Inclusion Officer Program which focuses on increasing community engagement and interaction while also building mutual respect and trust.
