Carleton University students will have a fall break from Monday, October 25 to Friday, October 29, 2021. During this time, no classes will take place.
Reduce the Risk
As you enjoy the break from campus, please remember to be COVIDWise:
- W – wear a mask.
- I – isolate yourself when you are feeling unwell.
- S – stay two metres apart from others.
- E – exercise proper hand hygiene.
Please continue to self-monitor for any symptoms potentially linked to COVID-19. If you start feeling unwell, please follow the symptom reporting process.
As a Carleton student, you have access to a variety of wellness resources. Make sure you’re taking care of your body – eating healthy, taking the time to exercise and drinking enough water. Carleton Athletics offers fitness classes, personal training and fitness centre workouts.
Carleton University undergraduate students also have access to free and confidential mental health resources, such as Empower Me. The Mental Health and Well-Being website has valuable tools and resources to understand, manage and improve your mental health and well-being while at university.
Finding Academic Success
A key component of a successful fall break is ensuring that you’re taking the time to catch up or get ahead on your academics. Take advantage of a quiet week to visit the Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) and explore the many learning and writing support sessions and workshops being offered.
The MacOdrum Library is open for all your study sessions, resource needs and research help.
Academic departments and student services are available to help you achieve your academic and personal goals in person and virtually. Please visit the departmental service listing to confirm hours of operation and appointment bookings. If you are coming to campus to access services, please ensure you follow our access to campus protocols.
We hope you enjoy the fall break! We ask you remember to be safe as we all work together to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health and safety of all members of our community upon your return.
