Cyber Security Awareness Month is back this October! It is a chance to educate citizens about how to stay safe and cyber aware while they work, study and live online.
This year’s theme is Fight Phishing: Ruin a Cyber Criminal’s Day! Phishing is an attack where a scammer calls you, texts or emails you, or uses social media to trick you into clicking a malicious link, downloading malware or sharing sensitive information.
How to Enter
It’s easy! Just enrol in the ITS Security Awareness Course through Brightspace and complete at least one module before the end of the day on Friday, October 28, 2022, for your chance to win. That’s it! Your name will be automatically entered into our contest.
The modules are short and easy to complete. Some of them are only one to two minutes in length and in addition to giving you a chance to win, you’ll learn about how to stay safe online and protect yourself from phishing!
