Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a silent moment of remembrance for the people who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.
Join the Student Experience Office (SEO) in visiting Canada’s National War Museum, one of the world’s most respected museums for the study and understanding of armed conflict. Pay tribute to the the brave Canadians who fought for our freedom.
The museum offers a rich and thought-provoking experience through its extensive exhibits, which explore not only the military events but also their social, political and human impacts.
Admission to the Canadian War Museum is free on Thursdays after 5:00 p.m.
Participants will meet at the International Student Services Office (ISSO) (128 Nideyinàn) at 4:00 p.m., then travel as a group using OC Transpo to 1 Vimy Place. Bring your U-Pass.
