Current Students

Campus Safety Services consists of Patrol Services, Parking Services, Technical Services and the Carleton University Student Emergency Response Team (CUSERT) who together provide support to the Carleton community 24/7, 365 days a year. Patrol Services is staffed by professional Communications Operators, Student Safety Patrollers (for those interested in a job opportunity), and Special Constables who are qualified sworn peace officers. Campus Safety Services strives to maintain a safe and inclusive campus for all members of our community.

We offer a Safe Walk Program, Work Late Program, secure bicycle compounds, safety planning, sexual assault education and prevention programs (in partnership with Equity and Inclusive Communities) and much more. Campus Safety also has an Engagement and Inclusion Officer Program which focuses on increasing community engagement and interaction while also building mutual respect and trust.
