Spirit and Oneness of Mind for Afro-Caribbean Students (SOMA) is a health symposium for the Afro–Caribbean Black (ACB) community in Ottawa to celebrate Black History Month. This full day event will include presentations and interactive activities from keynote speakers and health leaders from within the Ottawa community that engage the audience on different perspectives of ACB health, in particular the body, mind, and spirit implications of health within the Black community. All students and community members are welcome to attend for free to enjoy the discussions, entertainment, cultural foods and prizes.
