Prepare for the Fair: Resume Review Day 2 (Virtual)

This event has now passed.
When: Friday, October 13th, 2023
Time: 11:00 am — 2:00 pm
Location: Virtual (Zoom)

The in-person Fall Career Fair is coming up on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and Career Services is here to help you prepare!

Many employers will be accepting resumes at the event and Career Services wants to help make sure your resume is ready.

Register for the virtual Resume Review and the Zoom meeting ID, password and link to join will be sent to you the day before the event. After receiving the Zoom meeting invite, simply join the meeting anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, and have your resume ready on your laptop. (Can’t attend virtually? In-person resume review drop-ins will also be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the NideyinĂ n Galleria.)

When a Career Services staff member becomes available, they will invite you to a one-on-one chat and will review your resume with you live on Zoom. Your resume should be in Word or PDF format. Please be prepared to share your screen and close any other windows or tabs.

Once your resume has been reviewed, please register for the Career Fair (if you haven’t already) and consider attending the Prepare for the Fair: Networking event taking place on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to learn about networking with employers at the fair and how to make the most of your experience.

If you have any questions, or require accommodations for a disability, please contact Career Services by emailing career@carleton.ca. Note: If you are a Sprott student, please contact the Business Career Management Centre (BCMC) for a resume review.
