The Virtual Winter Career Fair is coming up on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, and Career Services is here to help you prepare!
Many employers will be accepting resumes at this online networking event and these sessions are here to help you make sure your resume is ready.
Register for the virtual Resume Review and the Zoom meeting ID, password and link to join will be sent to you the day before the event is set to take place. After receiving the Zoom meeting invite, simply join the meeting anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and have your resume ready on your laptop. (Can’t attend virtually? We will also have in-person resume review drop-ins on Thursday, January 18, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Nideyinàn Galleria.)
When a Career Services staff member becomes available, they will invite you to a one-on-one chat and will review your resume with you live on Zoom. Your resume should be in Word or PDF format. Please be prepared to share your screen and close any other windows or tabs.
Once your resume has been reviewed, please register for the Career Fair (if you haven’t already) and consider attending the virtual Prepare for the Fair: Networking event taking place on Monday, January 22, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to learn about networking with employers at the fair and how to make the most of your experience.
