Mary Ann Shadd Cary Annual Lecture

This inaugural lecture honours the legacy of Mary Ann Shadd Cary — the first Black woman publisher in North America — and spotlights women and non-binary journalists from under- and misrepresented communities. This year’s speaker, Camille Dundas, is co-founder and editor-in-chief of ByBlacks.com. The event will also feature Black entrepreneurs.
