Fall Career & Networking Fair

When: Wednesday, October 15th, 2025
Time: 10:00 am — 3:00 pm
Location: Alumni Hall
Room: Ravens' Nest

All Carleton students and grads are encouraged to attend the in-person Fall Career & Networking Fair! Whether you’re in your first year, graduating or alumni, the Career & Networking Fair is your chance to practice networking, learn about employers and explore opportunities.

Why Attend?

  • Practice builds confidence: Networking is a skill, and like any skill, it takes practice. The Career & Networking Fair is a professional-yet-approachable environment to start conversations, ask questions and build confidence.
  • Explore opportunities: Learn about full-time, part-time, co-op and future roles. Even if you’re not job hunting now, understanding what’s out there helps you plan ahead.
  • Gain insight: Discover what different organizations do, what they value in candidates and how you might fit in now or in the future. By chatting with a range of employers you can also identify valuable hiring trends.
  • Grow your network: Make connections that could lead to mentorship, advice or future opportunities. Every conversation is a step forward.
  • Convenient: Meet a wide range of employers that you would not normally have a chance to speak with, all without leaving campus. Drop in between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. as it fits your schedule (last check-in time is 2:45 p.m.).

Many employers will encourage students to apply to employment opportunities through the mySuccess Job Board or their organizations’ job portals. At the Career & Networking Fair, you can drop by the Resume Pop-up for a short on-the-spot resume check-up to make sure you’re submitting a strong application. You are encouraged to have a paper or digital copy on hand for the review.

If you have any questions about the Fall Career & Networking Fair or require accommodations for a disability to attend this event, please email email careerfair@carleton.ca.
