Students graduating in spring 2025: come learn about a career in procurement, material management, supply chain and logistics!

The Department of National Defence (DND) supports the Canadian Armed Forces who serve on the sea, on land and in the air with the Navy, Army, Air Force and Special Forces to defend Canadian interests at home and abroad.

Come join the Purchasing and Supply Group Community Management Office & Academy (PG CMO & A) from the DND to learn about what talent they’re looking for, get more information on professional buyer profiles and discover how to apply to government job opportunities. Specifically, come learn more about the PG Fundamental Program, a unique development program designed to kick-start your career.

DND employs over 20,000 public service employees in over 40 locations across Canada and abroad, making it one of the largest federal government departments in Canada. National Defence has made health and wellness a priority for both its public service and military employees and has built a diverse and inclusive workforce that is welcoming of individual differences. It is committed to providing support and tools that contribute to the physical and mental health of the defence community. The National Defence headquarters is in Ottawa at a secure, state-of-the-art facility combining the latest technology with green, open workspaces that promote a healthy work-life balance. The complex includes its own fitness facilities, recreational spaces, and several amenities and food concessions. With so many locations to choose from and nearly 70 different types of career opportunities, working at the DND means flexibility and mobility opportunities.
