Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association Careers Event

When: Tuesday, November 25th, 2025
Time: 6:00 pm — 7:30 pm
Location: Richcraft Hall
Room: 1200

The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) is inviting you, the next generation of innovators, to explore a career path that places you on the frontline of innovation. The CVCA team will be on site to share insights about what it looks like to pursue a career in private capital. Through a presentation and panel discussion with industry leaders, as well as networking, students will walk away with a clearer picture of the private capital industry. The CVCA Diversity Internship Program is open to women and individuals who are Black, Indigenous or People of Color (BIPOC); however, all students are welcome to attend to learn more about careers in this area. This event is designed for a diverse group of individuals who share a common goal: making a meaningful impact through their work. Whether you’re just starting your academic journey or nearing its completion, your perspective is invaluable. Students from various disciplines (science, arts, business, engineering, humanities and beyond) are encouraged to participate. Refreshments will be provided!

Career Services and Co-operative Education regularly offer workshops, info sessions and recruitment events to showcase the variety of opportunities that are available to you as a student (and beyond).

For more information and to register for the events, visit the mySuccess Co-op and Careers Workshops and Events Calendar. New events are added regularly, so be sure to keep an eye on the calendar throughout the year!
