Interested in going to grad school in the U.S.? Stop by this info booth to learn about this nonprofit system of six American colleges and universities working collaboratively to expand community impact and increase student success. Join The Community Solution Education System and EducationUSA to learn about how to apply to graduate school in the U.S. and discover some unique programs that are hard to find in Canada! The System includes the Chicago School, Pacific Oaks College, the Colleges of Law, Saybrook University, Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Western States. Colleges offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the areas of psychology, education, law, social work, counselling and health sciences. Through distinct programs, flexible degree offerings and real-world experiences, these institutions empower students to become innovative, engaged and purposeful agents of change who serve the global community. A dedicated team provides a wide range of services to help students navigate the complexities of studying in the United States, including academic advising, cultural adjustments and visa-related support.

CANTEACH Grad School Information Booth – Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Nideyinàn, 4th floor Galleria)
CANTEACH is an educational agency that promotes Teacher Education program options abroad in New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. At this info booth, CANTEACH Director Mike Johnson will be presenting information about one-year programs that allow you to attend a Teacher Education program abroad and become a certified teacher in Ontario. (Many Carleton students have attended a Teacher Education program abroad with CANTEACH and all CANTEACH students get fully certified in Ontario.) Teacher Education programs abroad have immense experiences to offer including travel, culture, a new curriculum and world-class teacher training programs.

Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme Recruitment Information Booth – Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Nideyinàn, 4th floor Galleria)
The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a Japanese-government-sponsored exchange program that offers university graduates opportunities to work in Japan as either an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in public schools or a Coordinator of International Relations (CIR) in select municipal government offices. The JET Programme offers one-year contracts that are extendible between three to five years, annual salary increases, a round-trip flight to Japan and much more. JET participants gain valuable work and life experience while having the opportunity to be fully immersed in Japanese daily life and culture. With this program, people from around the world can live, work and experience Japan from a local lens!
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to Canadian students wishing to pursue their studies at a Japanese university. The scholarship covers tuition fees, roundtrip flight to Japan and monthly allowance. Two categories open for application in Canada every spring: The Undergraduate Students category and the Research Students category.
McGill McCall MacBain Scholarships Information Booth – Thursday, March 27, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Nideyinàn, 4th floor Galleria)
Interested in mentorship, leadership skills development and funding to start your next degree at McGill University? The McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s largest leadership-based scholarships for master’s and professional studies. The program brings together students who strive to engage in positive change by taking on meaningful leadership roles.
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition and fees for 150+ eligible programs at McGill University
- A living stipend of $2,300 per month during academic terms
- Summer funding options
- A relocation grant
- Mentors and coaching, and
- A leadership curriculum
Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 one-time awards (ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 each) will be offered for 2026 admission. Two-thirds of the scholarships are available for Canadian students, and one-third are for international students in Canada and abroad. Criteria includes character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength and intellectual curiosity. Applications will open in June 2025 for summer/fall 2026 admission. Drop by the booth to learn more!
Discover Technata Career Fair – Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Off campus, Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata)

A complimentary shuttle bus from Carleton University will be offered the day of the event for students and alumni. The shuttle bus will department from Carleton at 9:30 a.m. with a 1:30 p.m. return. Please note, the registration on mySuccess is only to register for the shuttle bus (space is limited, registration for the shuttle is first-come, first-served).
