Update #2: Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.

Environment Canada has ended the winter weather travel advisory for Ottawa. Currently, there are not any weather alerts in effect.

Update #1: Monday, January 13, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Ottawa for snow beginning late afternoon on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Snow with accumulations of 2 to 4 cm is expected, along with reduced visibility at times in heavy and blowing snow.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.

The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.

Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
