Submit Your Photos in the 2025 Carleton Calendar Contest

Every year the Print Shop publishes a themed calendar for the Carleton community. The theme for the 2025 calendar is favourite places on campus!

Do you know of a fun, relaxing, entertaining or otherwise interesting spot on campus? Perhaps a lesser-known area that’s under-utilized? Or perhaps you’ve found that perfect spot along the river or canal that’s your go-to spot for your lunch break. If any of these apply to you, then submit a high-resolution photo of the location, along with a brief summary of what makes it special!

Entry rules
We are looking for your best photos of campus! But for your submission to be considered, please review the requirements below:

  • You must be affiliated with Carleton to enter this contest (i.e. you must be a student, staff, or faculty member).
  • Ideally, the photo(s) should be in landscape orientation to fit the calendar (i.e. wider than they are tall). The calendar page size is 11 inches wide by 9 inches tall.
  • Limit three photo submissions per person—make them count!
  • A minimum file size of 2MB is recommended, but the larger the image the better! Note: the maximum file size you are allowed to upload using the form below is 15MB, but if your image is larger than that, please include a link to the file (via Dropbox or a similar file-sharing service) in the comment box on the form.
  • You must your own photos (i.e. no stock photos, no AI images, or photos taken by anyone else), and you must have permission from anyone identifiable in the photo(s).

The submission deadline is midnight on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

What’s in it for you?
Besides the obvious fame, glory and prestige of being able to say “my photo was featured in a calendar” to all your friends and family? Well, the Print Shop will also be doing a draw from all the submissions for three Carleton hoodies!
