Applying to Graduate and Professional Studies Workshop – Part 2: Application Documents – Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This in-person session will cover writing a high-quality personal statement, the differences between a CV and resume and when to use either one appropriately, securing the right professional and academic references and preparing for standardized tests. There will also be time during the session to work on your personal statement/letter of intent or application and receive support and feedback.
Adler Graduate Professional School Information Session – Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Adler is a graduate professional school offering a variety of academic programs that prepare students to provide services in the areas of mental health and wellbeing. This includes a Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, Master of Psychology in Psychotherapy and Counselling and the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. Unique to the Adler Master of Psychology degree: applicants whose undergraduate degree is not a four-year honours in psychology may utilize the transitional equivalency program to qualify for full admission to either of the MPsy degree program paths.

This event is designed to introduce students and alumni to IBM Z technology, show you how to learn the relevant skills through free IBM Z Xplore training courses and introduce you to clients in the area who are looking to hire in the near future. Following this event, participants can access the training courses at home in preparation for IBM’s virtual career fair on Thursday, November 14, 2024. IBM’s career fair attendants must complete IBM Z Xplore courses prior to the event to be paired with potential employers.
