Carleton University BioBlitz

Join the Carleton Conservation Collective and Carleton Energy and Sustainability Services for an exciting on-campus BioBlitz!

The 8:00 a.m. BioBlitz event is a bird walk, while the noon session is an insect and plant walk.

A BioBlitz is a community event where participants aim to identify as many species as possible in a specific area within a short time.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to explore the diverse wildlife on our campus and contribute valuable data to our biodiversity records via iNaturalist.

The event will meet in front of the Nesbitt Biology Building. If you’d like to participate, please register on the Carleton Sustainability website. Drop-ins are also most welcome.
