Environment Canada has ended the rainfall warning for Ottawa. There are not any weather warnings in effect at present.
Update #1: Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Ottawa for heavy rain beginning Thursday evening through Friday, August 9, 2024.
Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm, with locally higher amounts are possible. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.
The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
