Flash Freeze Warning Ended

Environment Canada has ended the weather advisory for Ottawa. Currently, no weather advisories are in place.

Environment Canada has issued a flash freeze warning for Ottawa beginning Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the evening.

A dramatic change in temperatures is expected on Wednesday with the passage of a sharp cold front. Temperatures are expected to go from well above freezing to below freezing in just a matter of a few hours. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.

The university remains open. Operations will run as scheduled.

Please exercise caution when travelling to and commuting on campus.
