Resume Workshop – Session 1: How to Craft a Compelling Resume – Thursday, January 11, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This four-part, in-person Resume Workshop series will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to stand out in today’s competitive job landscape. Attend every session, or just the ones that are relevant to you. This series allows students and alumni to get tips from a Career Consultant about resumes and includes time to work on your resume each session so you can apply the knowledge you’ve learned. Session 1 kicks off with lessons on creating the foundation for a strong resume. Other sessions throughout the winter term include Session 2: How to Write a Persuasive Cover Letter, Session 3: Insider Insights into Applicant Tracking Software and Session 4: Leveraging AI Tools for Job Applications.
Navigating the Canadian Workplace: Session 1 – Beginning Your Job Search and Building Your Resume – Tuesday, January 16, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Are you looking for a job in Canada but aren’t sure where to begin? Are you thinking about working in Canada in the near future and looking for resources to answer some of your questions? Navigating the Canadian Workplace is a workshop series designed to support international students, and students who are newcomers to Canada, as you explore strategies for finding work and transition into the Canadian workplace. At this in-person info session, come learn about Read Jones Christoffersen (RJC) co-op, internship and career opportunities.
