Environment Canada ended the winter weather travel advisory and freezing rain warning for Ottawa overnight.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.

Environment Canada has added a freezing rain warning for Ottawa beginning the evening of Tuesday, November 21, 2023 and ending near midnight.
Several hours of freezing rain is expected this evening, with a potential build up of two to four mm of ice, before the precipitation changes to snow or rain.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.
The university remains open. Operations will run as scheduled.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Ottawa for the afternoon of Tuesday, November 21, 2023 into the morning of Wednesday, November 22, 2023 due to upcoming snowfall with a risk of freezing rain.
Snow may be mixed with freezing rain and ice pellets this afternoon and evening. Snow will begin to switch to rain in the overnight hours. Snowfall accumulations may be limited in some areas due to warm surface temperatures. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
