Snowfall Warning for Ottawa Ended

This news post is more than one year old and has been retained for archive purposes. The information below may no longer be relevant.

Update: the snowfall warning has ended.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Ottawa as snow is expected to begin overnight on Monday, February 27, 2023 and become heavy at times in late morning or early afternoon on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The snow will taper off late afternoon on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page and @MyCarletonU on Twitter for updates.

The university remains open and operations will run as scheduled.

Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
