Join Campus to Community for an opportunity to develop skills, gain experience, learn about important issues and reflect on their experience by participating in a half day of community-engaged learning with a local non-profit organization. Students will be supporting organizations with an assigned project or task and will be learning more about how their organization is supporting the Ottawa community. Volunteers can register for all events or whichever ones best fit their schedules.
Sunday, October 30, 2022: Ausome Ottawa
Support the Trot or Treat Halloween event in support of Ausome Ottawa.
Sunday, November 20, 2022: Ausome Ottawa
Support Ausome Ottawa’s Get Movin/Multi Sport Program which supports children with autism through sports.
Friday, November 25, 2022: the Ottawa Food Bank
Help sort through donations and stock shelves to sure that supplies are ready to be handed out throughout the community.
Saturday, December 3, 2022: the Ottawa Mission
Students will help to decorate their shelter in preparation for the winter holiday season.
