Campus Master Plan Student Consultation Sessions

This news post is more than one year old and has been retained for archive purposes. The information below may no longer be relevant.

All Carleton students are invited to participate at one of the interactive Campus Master Plan pop-up consultations on Tuesday, October 11 to provide their ideas about what features and spaces the campus should have in the future. It will also be a chance to provide thoughts about the spaces you use the most on campus, as well as the areas you feel could be improved or reimagined.

  • Pop-up #1: University Centre Galleria from 10:00 a.m. to noon
  • Pop-Up #2: Residence Commons from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Campus Master Plan identifies areas on campus that could be enhanced or created in the future.

The 2016 Campus Master Plan made recommendations around creating better linkages between the campus and the broader community. The new pedestrian bridge over the Rideau River to Vincent Massey Park (to open when the O-Train expansion is completed) is a key initiative that supports that goal.

If you can’t join us for the above consultation opportunities, don’t worry. In collaboration with our consultant, Brook McIlroy (BMI), we are using the interactive Bang the Table platform. The link will be live until Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

You can also provide your thoughts directly to BMI by email.
