Users of the Virtual Desktop Environment, including students attending virtual computer labs, will need to log in with Carleton’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) starting on Thursday, June 23, 2022. This change is being made to improve the security of the service and its users.
The Virtual Desktop Environment will not be available 7:00-7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 23 to allow for the switchover. Prior to that time, all users will need to save their work and to download and install VPN on their computers to use the Virtual Desktop Environment.
