Service Summary
This course introduces the university and FASS. You will learn how to navigate Carleton services, meet some of your fellow students, and have an opportunity to develop useful learning strategies to help you in your transition to university. Topics covered include procrastination (and how to avoid this trap), academic success (including how to read and take notes; study tips and goal setting), self-care (how to look out for your physical and mental health during the Fall) and online learning success. The course is facilitated by FASS student ambassadors and features presentations by faculty and students, in an interactive learning environment.
