Your student can begin preparing for next year with the fall/winter 2022-2023 class schedule and registration course planning tool now available on Carleton Central (log in through Carleton360 from the Current Students website). Carleton students are able to view courses and plan for their fall/winter terms. Registration begins on Monday, July 4, 2022 for new first-year students and on Friday, July 8, 2022 for returning students based on pre-assigned time tickets.

The fall 2022 and winter 2023 terms will see a regular in-person schedule with the majority of course components delivered in person.

Your student’s time ticket will be available on Carleton Central approximately one week preceding the registration time period. Encourage your student to register as soon as their time ticket opens to ensure the best chances of getting the courses they would like. Carleton University is supporting the mental health and wellness of your student with the launch of the Wellness Services Navigator. This new tool provides your student with a highly personalized and curated list of mental health and wellness resources.

• June 20-26, 2022: Final examinations in early summer courses and midterm examinations in full summer courses take place.
• July 1, 2022: Statutory holiday. University closed.
• July 4-6, 2022: Carleton Central opens for registration for new first-year students.
• July 8-13, 2022: Carleton Central opens for registration for returning students.

The Student Registration Assistance (SRA) Team is available until registration closes on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to help your student with questions about Carleton Central, the registration process and building your student’s timetable. Carleton looks forward to celebrating your graduate’s achievement at in-person Convocation this month! Graduates from the class of 2020 and the class of 2021 will celebrate their achievement on Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 17, 2022. As a parent, watching your student earn their diploma and graduate is one of the most memorable experiences. During their time at Carleton, they’ve proven they are bold and determined overcoming obstacles and accomplishing great things. The Ravens Ring symbolizes the achievements and embodies the legacy of graduating Ravens and their time at Carleton. The revised and updated Student Mental Health Framework 2022–2026 is available following an extensive year-long consultation process.

Our community provided their perspectives throughout the year through consultation meetings, information and feedback workshops and online sessions. This input helped create a guiding document representing the voices of our diverse communities.

In line with our strategic commitment to strive for wellness and to further enhance support for our student’s academic, personal and professional potential, Carleton has established an inaugural Associate Vice-President (Student Health and Wellness) to better streamline and synergize our health, mental health and wellness services and programs for your student.

In the same vein, the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs and Student Life) position has been reviewed and refined.
