LaTeX (pronounced Lay-Tech) is the standard document processor used for writing reports in physics and mathematics. It is unlike common document processors as it is built specifically for writing scientific papers. It provides easy equation editing and does automatic formatting, citing, numbering and more, making writing lab reports much faster once the syntax is learned.

A laptop is required to get the most out of the tutorial. Participants will be using the website Overleaf to practice.
