This year, the Office of Risk & Insurance Services, the Department of Equity and Inclusive Communities and Campus Safety Services are collaborating to deliver this year’s alcohol training online.

This training is mandatory for all individuals (faculty, staff and students) who wish to work in alcohol service on campus including anyone:

  • serving alcohol on campus
  • providing security at an event where alcohol will be served, or
  • those organizing events where alcohol where alcohol will be available

This virtual training is two-parts, with each session lasting 60-90 minutes. On May 12, sessions are scheduled:

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

It includes Carleton’s Alcohol and Cannabis Policy, as well as the role of alcohol and drugs in harassment and sexual violence.
