Thriving in Action (TiA) is based around the principles of positive psychology and focuses on helping students to be more mindful, optimistic, accepting of themselves and reach their goals. Students will be expected to attend eight weekly group sessions over the 2020 winter semester. This is a good opportunity for any students who would benefit from group counselling – whether they are registered with FITA or not – and even if they are currently receiving individual counselling. It will be run by the FITA Manager (a psychologist) and FITA’s assistant manager (a registered psychotherapist).
