Prepare for the Fall Career & Networking Fair on Wed. Oct. 7, 2026 by exploring two main concepts that can contribute to your career success: preparing for job interviews and connecting with professionals using informational interviews.

In the lead up to the fair, discover interview strategies that will assist you in pursuing full-time, part-time and co-op roles, or post-graduation jobs. During the workshop, you will learn about:

Job interviews:

  • Purpose of an interview
  • Interview questions and formats
  • Interview preparation strategies
  • Things to remember during an interview
  • Interview follow-up

Informational interviews:

  • Informational interviews as a networking tool (and how they differ from regular interviews)
  • Types of questions to ask during an informational interview
  • Approaching professionals and setting up an informational interview
