The 2026 International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Wheelchair Basketball World Championship is coming to Ottawa in September, bringing the best 28 men’s and women’s teams from across the world to compete right here at Carleton University’s Ravens’ Nest, as well as the Arena at TD Place.

This event will showcase skill, resilience and athleticism, while demonstrating the unifying power of sport and championing inclusivity.

The competition takes place from Wed. Sept. 9 to Sat. Sept. 19, 2026.
