Parking Services has updated the student parking permit process for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Student parking permits are prioritized for specific groups, including students with U-Pass waivers, accommodation considerations, students living in Residence, those with on-campus jobs and student athletes.
Parking Services has automated the permit process for students whose U-Pass opt-out request has been approved because they reside outside the OC Transpo service area. Once you receive your U-Pass opt-out approval email, your permit will be available for purchase in your ParkAdmin account. The email will also include instructions on how to complete your purchase.
Students who are not eligible for priority parking can join the student permit waitlist through their ParkAdmin account. Please note the updated waitlist opening date is Fri. July 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
For those who drive to campus and do not have a parking permit, limited all-day parking is available in P7 for $12 daily, or short-term parking is in other campus visitor parking lots on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment can be made via the Hotspot app, by scanning QR codes posted in the lot or at pay stations where available.
Other commuting options, including off-campus parking for $7.50 daily at Vincent Massey Park, a five-minute walk across the Rideau river, are on the Parking Services website.
