Special weather statement: rain View weather updates

Update #1: Wed. April 15, 2026 at 1:20 p.m.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa for rainfall amounts of 10 to 20mm later on Wed. April 15 into Thurs. April 16, 2026.

Portions of the region have received significant rainfall amounts over the last few days. As a result, any further rainfall could have significant impacts.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.

The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.

Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
