The academic withdrawal deadline to drop a full winter, late winter or fall/winter course is Sun. March 15, 2026*. After this date, you will no longer be able to drop winter term courses.

An academic withdrawal will create no financial change to winter term fees and will result in a grade of Withdrawn (WDN) appearing on your official transcript. WDN is a permanent notation that appears on your official transcript signifying no academic credit. WDN will not impact your CGPA.

When making changes to your timetable, visit myAudit to ensure your course selection(s) meet your program requirements! Because the audit is an ever-changing document, it is important that you review it often, especially after you have added or dropped courses. You have access to your audit 24-hours a day, seven days a week by logging in to Carleton360 and selecting “myAudit” from the important links menu. The Academic Advising website has instructions to read your audit.

You may wish to take courses in the summer to account for dropped fall or winter term courses. Registration for the summer session opens on Thurs. March 19, 2026 for degree students and Mon. March 23, 2026 for special students. The summer schedule is available through Carleton Central (by logging into Carleton360) and registration instructions are on the Registration website.

* 0.25 credit courses are subject to different deadlines, please review the undergraduate calendar.
