Ross Video Recruitment Presentation – Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (301 Azrieli Theatre)

Open to all students and recent grads interested in a career in mainframe. IBM Z is the branch of IBM that develops the mainframe. Mainframe computers are super powerful machines designed to process millions of transactions a day hyper efficiently with an intense focus on security and uptime. These transactions are bank withdrawals, online purchases and so much more! The companies that are powered by IBM Z machines are amongst the largest companies in the world. From the world’s leading banks to nearly every airline, mainframes make the financial world go round. These companies are looking for new mainframers to fill their talent pipelines! Co-op Job Search Strategies Workshop – Thursday, November 20, 2025, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (1500 CTTC)

In this one-hour interactive session for co-op students, you will analyze your current job search strategy and identify possible gaps, clarify what you are looking for in a co-op and what information you need to gather, learn effective methods for researching job opportunities, develop new job search strategies and plan for next steps.

Co-op Work Permit Application Workshop – Friday, November 21, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (402 MacOdrum Library)

This workshop is for international co-op students who are applying for a co-op work permit and is hosted by the Co-operative Education Office in collaboration with the Global Opportunities and International Student Services Office (GO-ISSO). GO-ISSO’s Immigration Advisor will walk you through the Co-op Work Permit Application process.

Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association Careers Event – Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (1200 Richcraft Hall)

The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) is inviting you, the next generation of innovators, to explore a career path that places you on the frontline of innovation. The CVCA team will be on site to share insights about what it looks like to pursue a career in private capital. Through a presentation and panel discussion with industry leaders, as well as networking, students will walk away with a clearer picture of the private capital industry. The CVCA Diversity Internship Program is open to women and individuals who are Black, Indigenous or People of Color (BIPOC); however, all students are welcome to attend to learn more about careers in this area. This event is designed for a diverse group of individuals who share a common goal: making a meaningful impact through their work.
