DESCRIPTION:<p>The Carleton University Umbrella project has partnered with Respect RX Pharmacy to offer an Opioid Awareness and Substance Use Stigma Seminar in which participants will learn:</p>
<ol>
<li>Overview of the opioid crisis</li>
<li>Effects of opioids and how to recognize signs of an overdose</li>
<li>Information about Narcan (nasal naloxone) and how it can be used to temporarily reverse an overdose</li>
<li>How stigma around substance use and mental health is a barrier to care can how to be an ally</li>
</ol>
