As part of the critical watermain project, both lanes of traffic on Campus Avenue is closed between Rideau House and Nicol Building beginning Thurs. Sept. 10, 2026, and extending into the fall term.

During this period:

  • Sidewalks on the west side of Campus Avenue within the construction zone are closed.
  • Pedestrians should use the sidewalks on the east side of Campus Avenue (closer to O-Train tracks).
  • Loading dock access is maintained.
  • The garbage disposal area between Prescott House and Renfrew House is accessible.

Bus Stops Relocated

OC Transpo stops on Campus Ave. are temporarily relocated:

  • For service on routes 10 Hurdman, 48 Hurdman and 111 Baseline, use the temporary stop on University Dr. southbound across from Athletics. 
  • ​​​​​​​For service on route 7 St-Laurent, use the stop on University Dr. northbound near Athletics. 
  • Routes 7, 48 and 111 Carleton will terminate at the temporary stop on University Dr. southbound across from Athletics.
