The Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) Health and Dental Plan, administered by Alumo, provides students with extended health and dental coverage from Tues. Sept. 1, 2026 to Tues. Aug. 31, 2027.

Students taking 1.5 credits or more in the fall term are automatically included in the plan through student fees.

Students taking fewer than 1.5 credits are eligible and may self-enrol during the change-of-coverage period from Wed. Sept. 9 to Fri. Oct. 2, 2026.

If you are covered by an equivalent health and/or dental plan (such as a parent or spouse’s benefit plan), you may opt out during the change-of-coverage period and receive a credit to your student account.
