Environment Canada has ended the yellow advisory for fog. The special weather statement for Ottawa for rain remains in effect.

Environment Canada has issued a yellow advisory – fog for Ottawa for areas of dense fog with near zero visibility dissipating late morning on Thurs. April 16, 2026.
Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.
The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
