Environment Canada has ended the special weather statement. At present, there are no weather alerts in effect.

Environment Canada has replaced the special weather statement with a yellow warning – rainfall for Ottawa.
Rain, heavy at times, continues. The ground, already near saturation, has little ability to absorb further rainfall. Additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm. Total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm.
After a break in the precipitation later today, another round of heavy rain may affect the region on Tues. April 14, 2026.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa for significant rainfall continuing into the afternoon on Mon. April 13, 2026.
Rainfall amounts of 20-30mm are expected.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.
The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
