The First Year Connections (FYC) Mentorship Program is returning for winter 2026! Connecting with a peer mentor means you will have someone to answer your questions, connect you with campus resources, help you learn more about your program and show you how to get involved on campus.
FYC peer mentors are trained in providing great resources and support for first-year students and will help you achieve a great start here at Carleton. You will be paired with an upper year student who has the skills needed to help you along your way as you adjust to the new term.
You will connect with your peer mentor for 30 minutes each week from the first week of classes until the winter break. Upper year students who are seeking to strengthen their commitment to academic success and enhance their social engagement on campus are also welcome to register. Register on the Student Experience Office website to become a mentee for winter 2026.
