Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Update #1: Friday, November 7, 2025 at 3:0 p.m.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa for accumulating snow likely on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm are expected beginning Sunday morning and continuing into Sunday night.

Snowfall warnings may be required. Motorists should expect difficult winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor the Current Students weather page for updates.

The university remains open and operations are running as scheduled.

Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
