As many of you know, Carleton has been engaged in a consultation process as it develops an institutional impartiality policy.
The university received useful feedback from the community at multiple campus venues and through an open online forum. It greatly appreciates the community’s engagement with the process and the valuable input and insights that were provided.
As a result of the consultations, the policy has undergone significant and important changes to clearly convey its original intent and to address what was heard. An amended policy draft can be found here and will be presented to the Board of Governors for consideration.
