The Global Opportunities & International Student Services Office (GO-ISSO), in partnership with the Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) brings you ‘Through a Global Lens,’ an annual photography competition.
Educational Goals
The goal of this program is to promote internationalization on Carleton’s campus by centering global perspectives and experiences on campus. Activities surrounding the photo competition will enhance opportunities to diversify one’s lens as a platform for healthy global engagement.
This year’s theme is “Everyday Life,” highlighting daily routine or candid moments that reflect local peaceful life. Participants must include a short description (two to three sentences) explaining the story behind their photo, why it’s meaningful, or what it represents.
The top three submissions will receive the following prizes proudly sponsored by CUSA.
- First prize: $100 gift card
- Second prize: $50 gift card
- Third prize: $25 gift card
