A tuition payment deferral allows approved Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) recipients to delay their fall tuition payment until after the term begins.
To qualify, your OSAP application must be fully processed, with a fall funding instalment calculated and scheduled for release at the beginning of September. If these conditions are met, your fall tuition payment deadline will be automatically deferred from Monday, August 25 to Thursday, September 11, 2025, allowing time for your OSAP funds to be received.
