The Legal Clinic at CUSA is a satellite of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic (UOCLC).
The clinic offers free notarial services to Carleton undergraduate students, including drafting and commissioning affidavits (such as affidavits for Ontario Student Assistance Program applications) or notarizing true copies, and limited free legal services to undergraduates in criminal and quasi-criminal law, housing law and family law.
Come see the team during drop-in services on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting Monday, September 8, 2025, at the CUSA office (401 Nideyinàn) or consult the UOCLC website for more information on how to apply for services.
UOCLC has discretion to determine whether the service you require is one they can provide.
