The U-Pass is a discount transit pass for eligible Carleton students, offering unlimited travel on OC Transpo and STO buses and trains for those enrolled in 1.5 credits or more in the fall and winter terms.
Your Campus Card and U-Pass are a combined card. If you previously added the transit application to your Campus Card, or received your card after Monday, July 1, 2024, your fall U-Pass will be activated automatically when you use it on transit in the fall pass period, beginning Monday, September 1, 2025.
If you received your Campus Card prior to Monday, July 1, 2024 and have not yet added the transit application, you will need to do so at the Campus Card Office.
Eligible students may request a U-Pass opt-out by Sunday, September 14, 2025.
